The 12th edition of the Snack Route starts today, Wednesday, September 14, extending until 16 October, covering once again the entire Algarve region.
The snack ers now have 33 days to go through 11 municipalities (Aljezur, Vila do Bispo, Lagos, Portimão, Monchique, Lagoa, Silves, Albufeira, Loulé, São Brás de Alportel and Tavira) and 220 participating establishments, to taste the best snacks and collect stamps for prizes.
The new Passport, which guarantees access to all the snacks of the Route at a very inviting price - Snack Menu (3,5€) and Sweet Menu (2,5€) – is now available for purchase at official points of sale, namely in municipal and cultural spaces, tourist offices and institutions supported by the Solidarity Route, as in all participating establishments.
The snackers can also already know where to find the Passport and peek at what this year's snacks in www.rotadopetisco.com.
After 11 successful editions, and having been received the National Gastronomic Tourism Award in 2021, the Organization decided that the time had come to change the image of the Route to something younger, colorful and based on fun illustrations. This was the proposal of BuummDesign, the new design partner of the event.
With a new Passport, the website was also completely renovated to accompany this new "clothing". Snackers should consult you to stay on high for possible hourly updates and check out all vegetarian options.
